Maria Diaz asumes the position of vice-president for Mujeres Latinas

GBS Group founder and CEO, Maria Antonietta Diaz, assumed the position of executive vice-president for Mujeres Latinas Impulsando Mujeres Latinas, of which she is a founding member. On this occasion she has the support of Rita Ramirez director of GBS People Development who will be in charge of Mujeres Latina’s business committee.

This past Tuesday January 18th they were sworn in at the Ana G. Mendez University campus in Miramar Florida for the board of directors 2011-2012. This non-profit organization was founded in 1999 to inform and support the latin woman in the process of adapting to a new social and economic in environment in the USA.

In attendence with various members, special invitees, amd several community leaders, Linda Gomez the previous President of Mujeres Latinas bestowed the presidency to Syndia Nazario-Cardona, director of Ana G. Mendez South Campus.

The new board plans to continue the extraordinary development by the previous board as well as incorporate new social functions and promote a financial literacy program to assist in the transition to the new economy
