Maria Antonietta is an active member of the following professional associations: National Society of Accountants (NSA), National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP), National Society of Tax Professionals (NSTP) and has been a counselor at SCORE – an experts panel belonging to the U.S.Small Business Administration (SBA) –

She has been invited by the IRS as a speaker to talk on business in its forums for the Hispanic community, and has been constant guest of the mornings’ information shows at Telemundo Network in the USA.

 

 

 

 

Professional Experience

Degree in Accounting from the University of Zulia (Venezuela) and Master in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University. She began his career in the area of external audit in the prestigious firm PriceWaterhouseCooper and further with Ernst & Young. As a senior auditor she reviewed processes, managed accounting and administrative processes for oil production companies, petrochemical, commercial banking, supermarket chains, and small and medium enterprises.

Maria Antonietta was the Manager of Administration, Finance and General Services at Satvenca TVC, one of the leading cable TV in Venezuela. For over 15 years, she managed both line and staff functions, and oversaw the start-up process, acquisition of going concerns businesses for sale in the area of cable television and the brewing industry.

Community Involvement

Maria Antonietta has excelled in the field of community participation. Founding member and current President of the nonprofit organization Latin Women Empowering Latin Women, where she has been key part of the process of expansion.
